Why a chemical SPF and not a mineral one?

We spent months trying & testing out a lot of different types of SPFs in different formats.

At the end of the day, there were a few really important boxes that needed to be ticked for us to proceed:

  1. No visible evidence of any sort of SPF on your skin, especially on your head.
  2. Zero shine. We wanted a dry feel, something that's almost impossible with most sunscreens.
  3. No added fragrances whatsoever. Most sunscreens add a smell in the form of fragrance, oils or linalool. We did not. After a few seconds, you won't smell anything on your skin.

The mineral samples we tried could never be 100% non greasy, 100% matte and 100% invisible.

So we finally landed on our winning formula, and we believe this is and will be a game changer.

    Men's skin is thicker with less fat, making it more at risk to UV damage and less efficient at repair. Protection & nourishment of our skin is very important.

  • Men's behaviours

    Historically, men are less likely to use sunscreen & other skincare products on their head & face than women. We are trying to change that.

  • Sun exposure

    Men tend to be exposed to more direct UV rays than women, due to nature of work, lifestyles etc. This is why applying SPF daily is important. On top of that, nourishing your skin with a moisturiser or serum at night is equally important for long term skin health.

  • Protection starts at a young age
